Thursday's Card

Good Afternoon, my blogging friends. Today I have a simple card to share with you that is bright and fun and very easy to make.  But first I want to make a shout out to all those celebrating their 4th Blogiversary over at unscriptedsketches. Way to go gals, 4 years sharing your challenges, sketches, and fun for all!  I do so appreciate all the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the challenges going for card makers like myself. Thank you all so very much!

I am using the sketch from unscriptedsketches for my card this week. I am using the theme Friend from addictedtocas.  I have added faux stitching which is the challenge from fussyandfancychallenge. I will be entering my card into each of these challenges.

I have made this card using bright yellow paper, then I added a sentiment stamp about friendship which I colored in with my new colored pencils. I then backed it with purple polka dots before placing it on the card.
I used purple bakers twine and a pretty little purple flower to give the card a little pop of color.  I love how bright and cheerful the card turned out and I hope you will love it too.
Thank you so very much for stopping into my blog today. I love to read any comments that are left for me, each one leaves a stamp on my heart. I would  be honored if you would consider becoming a follower of mine...just click in to join at the top of the page. Thanks so much, and please come back again.

  4. Love this happy color combo and the clean & simple design layout! Great idea to color the flowers in the sentiment to match the pretty flower and the baker's twine!
