Hello my blogging friends around the world. Today I have a short post as I am not feeling up to par, but I wanted to share my work desk, and try to get around to see a few of yours too! I just love to see what you all are up to, and I love knowing that you are visiting me too.
If you are new to WOYWW, please hop over to see Julie and you will discover everything you ever wanted to know about this crazy phenomenon "What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday". You will also find a lot of other desks to visit, and you might even join yourself!!!! (if you haven't already!)
On my workspace you can see the beginning of my scrapendipity card that I will hopefully be getting to tomorrow, and hopefully will be making my first tutorial for. I am making the card for my youngest son for his birthday, and it is a process that is a lot of fun to do and turns out quite stunning, so I hope you might come back to see the finished product!
I have also laid out some of my newest paper stash that I purchased at Michaels on the weekend...if you live in Canada or the USA you might think of hopping over to Michaels before their best sale of the season ends on Thursday...I don't show you all my new stash, but my they do have a whopper of a good sale on this week!
Thank you so much for stopping by, I would love it if you would join my blog while you are here, and I appreciate every comment that is left for me, your kind words bring a smile to my heart!

Lovely paper and you have one of my favorite glues too! Welcome to the Cricut world : D. CCR is awesome for things like welding and hiding lines and setting things askew. I learned sooooooooo much from Everyday Cricut (http://www.cricutholiday.com/) which is now longer being updated, but still a wonderful resource, Courtney Lane Designs(http://www.courtney-lane.blogspot.com/) and Obsessed with Scrapbooking (http://www.obsessedwithscrapbooking.com/). There are lots and lots of other blogs as well. Also the Cricut Forums as cricut.com (I haven't had time to visit there in ages though). Thanks for visiting my blog. #152

G'day Cathryn
ReplyDeletehope you are feeling better. I love your serendipity tutorial. It's something I used to do about ten yrs ago or more.I wish we had a Michael's here in Oz *sigh*. Thanks for popping by my blog and glad you liked my jewellery. Yes working shift work plus trying to get time to be creative is a challenge but getting arty helps me to get over the stress of work.
hugs

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by this week Cathryn. I’m sorry it’s taken my so long to make a return visit but just not felt much like spending time on the computer up till now. But I’m on the mend now and ‘ready to party’.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice little spend up in Michael’s then! It’s always nice to have new stash to play with.
Happy Crafting!

Very interesting card for your son (happy birthday to him!) and good luck with the tutorial, Cathy! And thanks for the tip about Michael's. The ad showed up in my inbox, but they are always having a sale, so I ignored it. I didn't know it was THE sale!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit to me! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Darnell #47
